I&#8217;d add to this list the planning aspect. I&#8217;ve always felt it&#8217;s huge to lay out a plan of action for the next day before you leave each night. Along with that is the &#8220;hour of power,&#8221; where you make your most important calls\/tasks during whichever part of the day you feel most alert and engaged (this is typically morning-time for most people). Put out a do not disturb sign or block off your calendar to avoid distractions, as the article suggests. I also love the point about having a specific time to check your emails and messages.
