Lead Accountant

Houston, TX, full-time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepare internal management statements, external FERC and GAAP financial

reports, and other analysis as required for the Panhandle and Citrus

companies.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Accounting degree

Minimum 5 years work experience (financial reporting or public accounting

preferred)

Strong written communication skills

Proficient in Excel and Word software

Experience with FERC regulatory accounting and reporting, a plus Experience

The Director will be responsible for leading the strategic tax planning and compliance function for all income and transaction taxes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the worldwide tax planning and compliance functions.
• Oversee all domestic and international income tax compliance functions: federal, state, 5471 and foreign tax credit calculations.
• Oversee all domestic and international transaction tax compliance, functions: sales use, VAT, federal excise and other fuel related tax compliance.
• Analyze structure options to identify most tax advantageous organization.
• Manage all aspects of the IRS and other worldwide tax audits.  Assist with developing audit defense strategies for US/non-US tax audits.
• Maintain international transfer pricing agreements and cost sharing agreements.
• Perform tax planning and research; respond to tax questions from business units. Identify ways to minimize tax liability in accordance with current tax laws.
• Support merger and acquisition activity both domestically and internationally.
• Manages relationships between the company, external auditors and outside tax consultants as well as government agencies relating to tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with FAS 109, FIN48 and maintain accurate tax accounting and roll-forwards.
• Initiate process improvements by reviewing cost effective and efficient solutions to automate  compliance functions.
• Build and manage a strong tax team and tax professionals.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA, Master’s in Taxation
• 10+ years of combined tax experience in a Big 4 public and private accounting firm, preferably in a large corporate tax environment.
• Experience working in a multi-state, multi-national environment is required.
• A CPA or MST is preferred.
• FAS 109 – General awareness of the international portions of quarterly and annual FAS 109 income tax provision calculation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of corporate and management staff.

SAP FICO Analyst

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Candidate must have 2+ years experience in supporting users of SAP FICO Module and exposure to PS and MM modules, reports, interfaces, enhancements and data conversions, preferably in an international environment.
• Candidate must have 2+ years progressively responsible experience in process and systems analysis.
• Candidate will primarily work in SAP but must be willing to learn to support other applications in the space.
• Project planning skills, including monitoring progress, taking corrective action and reporting results
• Demonstrated organizational skills, as well as strong written, oral and presentational communication abilities in order to work with all levels of staff and users.
• Ability to work independently and keep management adequately informed.
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling systems and business processes including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Knowledge of data processing including a high-end (general) technical knowledge of hardware, software, databases and database technology. Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments.

Active Directory/Exchange & Citrix Engineer

PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of two certifications is required, one must be with Citrix

Microsoft Active Directory – Install, configure, troubleshoot Microsoft
Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory Services. Must have technical expertise
with configuring DNS, DHCP, IIS, Certificate Authority, Schema
troubleshooting, AD upgrade, LDAP, ADMT, AD Federation Services, and
Replication. Must have deployed AD in a multi-Forest/Domain environment
supporting local and remote users.

Exchange 200x – Install, configure, and troubleshoot Exchange 2003 – 2010.
Must have completed implementation of Exchange 2007/2010 in Exchange 2003
environments and completed migration of mailboxes to new environment. Must
have implemented Exchange 2007 Clustering and be familiar with all Exchange
2007/2010 roles. Must be familiar with deploying Exchange 200X in a DR
scenario. Experience with deploying Exchange is a virtualized environment
is desirable.

Citrix – Install, configure, and troubleshoot XenApp and XenDesktop. Must
have implemented a VDI solution consisting of at least 50 thin clients.
Familiarity with deployment of VDI solution with VMware, Hyper-V or Xen
Hypervisor is extremely desirable.

Certification Requirements – Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist
(MCTS): Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, MCSE 2003/2008, CCA for XenApp 5 /
XenDesktop 3. A minimum of two certifications is required, one must be with
Citrix.

SAP APO ANALYST

full-time position, Houston, TX

• 5 years of Manufacturing Industry experience is plus.
• 4-5 years functional experience with APO/SCM/MM/PP
• 2 years configuration experience with APO/SCM/MM/PP
• 4-5 years support experience with APO/SCM/MM/PP
• 3 Full life cycle implementation of SAP APO/SCM/MM/PP
• Should have knowledge of KPIs, metrics, dashboards – SCOR process modeling a plus
